LITURGY OF THE WORD WITH CHILDREN

During the 9:30 a.m. weekly Sunday Mass, The Liturgy of the Word for Children Program (LOW) is offered to children in Kindergarten through fifth grade. This program is specially designed to create a better understanding and appreciation for Scripture through age appropriate adaptations of the Readings, Gospel, and homily. The LOW Program encourages the children to become full participants in the Liturgy. Please contact the Religious Education Office if you are interested in volunteering or if you would like to register your child or children for this exciting children's program. Parents, please consider joining our fabulous team of volunteers! Training is available. Volunteers are scheduled on a rotating basis.

The 2009-2010 LCS Program is contingent upon the number of interested families. Please contact Mary Pizzano at 610-647-4757 or mpizzano@saintmonicachurch.org if you are interested in participating.

LITTLE CHURCH SCHOOL PROGRAM
This program is not being offered for the 2009-2010 Academic Year.

The Little Church School Program, (LCS) is offered during the 9:30 a.m. weekly Sunday Mass during the school year for registered three and four year old parishioners and their parents. The children of this program are engaged in age-appropriate religious activities which strengthen their understanding and love for Jesus. Parents of registered children rotate as volunteers, allowing for invaluable child-parent interaction during this time of foundational faith development.

● Students ages 12 and older are encouraged to volunteer and appreciated!

● Parents must submit the required clearances prior to child-parent participation.

● Children must be potty-trained.
