Saint Monica Parish Mission Statement

- Our Parish Mission -

We, the faithful of Saint Monica Parish, having been baptized into Jesus Christ and confirmed by the Holy Spirit, are called not only to proclaim, but also to live the Gospel of love, forgiveness and reconciliation to all people.

Accepting the privilege and challenge of this call, we therefore commit ourselves in this, our first Mission Statement to:

Worship God and grow in our spirituality, especially through the reception of the Eucharist and the other Sacraments through quality of prayer life and through deeds of service.
Enhance communications between administration, organizations, committees and the parish as a whole.
Enrich our faith community by encouraging parish-sponsored activities which enable every parishioner to feel a sense of belonging.
Broaden educational programs which foster continued growth in faith.
Bear witness by serving all our sisters and brothers, particularly the lonely and disadvantaged, that all might know we are Christians by our love.

May the Holy Spirit, in His Infinite Wisdom, constantly guide our efforts to be a community of believers, a community of friends, and a community of servants for the betterment of Saint Monica Parish and the salvation of our souls.

We ask also for the intercession of Mary, our Mother, and of Saint Monica, our Patroness.
