The Saint Monica
Religious Education Program Youth Group for Students in Grades 7 & 8 The Saint Monica Youth Group, the Friends and Believers in Christ or "FBI" is entering its fourth year for students in grades 7 and 8 begins this year! Registered parishioners in grades 7 & 8 attending Saint Monica School, public school, and private schools are welcome to register and attend this Youth Group. This group is a spirit-filled youth ministry program facilitated by adults known as the Core Team. The Core Team will engage the participants in interactive activities which are designed to help them apply their faith to every day living. This program will replace the traditional classroom setting for students who would usually attend Religious Education class at the 7th and 8th grade level. The program, to be named by the youth participants, will be held on two Sunday nights per month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. One of the two “meetings” per month will be theme or topic oriented, the other will involve community service activities. The registration fee is $25.00 per participant. Financial assistance is available to families in need of assistance. As was established within the Religious Education Program, public school students must be registered in the program and regularly attend the group events in order to be eligible to participate in CYO activities.
