Marielena Barnes

In 2021, Marielena answered a request in the parish bulletin for an Administrative Assistant for Faith Formation. Later that year, she assumed the part-time role of Financial Administrator for the parish. 

Now in 2023, Marielena will be expanding her role to a full time position as Director of Finance and Administration.  In addition to her current duties and responsibilities, she is also the liaison for our tenant, Regina Luminis Academy, all departments of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the Finance Council, and all ministry treasurers.  Marielena will also work with the Facilities Director, Mike Wallace on identifying campus maintenance project timelines, cost projections, and the like; be the point of contact for all information technology needs, and handle all human resource and payroll related matters for both the pastoral team and church volunteers.

Marielena considers herself blessed to be part of the team at Saint Monica and is excited to share her skills and talents with the parish community.
