Mike Wallace

Mike was born in Philadelphia and raised in a Catholic household. His family attended Saint Matthew in Mayfair and he is a graduate of the parish elementary school. He then went on to graduate from Lincoln High School, also in Mayfair. Mike currently resides in Collegeville in upper Montgomery County.
 
His professional career in facilities management spans thirty-two years. Mike started at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceutical (now known as GlaxoSmithKline) and worked for seventeen years in the facilities, engineering, and maintenance department. His career focus was then directed to education, where he was employed as Supervisor of Maintenance, Custodial, and Grounds at Upper Dublin High School. After three years, an opportunity for the Facility Director position opened up at the motherhouse for the Sisters of Mercy, which included Merion Mercy and Waldron Mercy Academies. Mike very much enjoyed his twelve years at Merion overseeing grounds, maintenance, and custodial staff, as well as contract management.

Mike has served as the Director of Facilities Management for Saint Monica in January 2021. His responsibilities include care for and oversight of the campus and buildings, vendor/contract management, safety and security, and logistical support for the parish's mission and ministries.
