Women's Retreat
Save the date for the Saint Monica’s Women’s Retreat on April 18! This day of reflection in the season of Easter will be held at IHM Conference Center (401 South Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bryn Mawr). There will also be personal time to wander the beautiful grounds, say a Rosary in the Chapel, or relax in the enclosed sun porch with a spiritual book. The day begins at 9:00 AM and will close with prayer at 2:30PM. The cost is $55.00 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Space is limited, so please make your reservation as soon as possible. Registration deadline is April 6. More details to follow. Questions? Lenten Sacred Music Concert
“He Paid the Price”: A Lenten Sacred Music Concert
Join Stephen Giblin (Bass) and Maria Dell'Orefice (Pianist) as they perform sacred songs from composers such as Verdi, Handel, Mozart, and more. All the song selections are intentionally woven together for you to come away, listen, and reflect as we make our way towards The Resurrection.
Lenten Service Day
Join us in supporting Blessed Sarnelli Community, Saint Francis De Sales School students and families, Christ in the City, and Great Valley Food Cupboard. We’ll be making sandwiches, assembling Family Food Kits, filling backpacks with essential items, assembling blessing bags, and more.

Thanksgiving Gathering
Join your fellow parishioners for coffee, pastries, and fruit in the School Cafeteria after Mass on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025. All are welcome to this event organized by the Women’s Society. We can’t wait to see you there!

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program! Holy Name Society Cornhole Tournament
The Men of the Holy Name Society and Men's club are not only proud, but VERY excited to announce our hosting and presenting the first St. Monica's Cornhole Tournament for the parish community this Fall.
DATE: Sunday (no Eagles game) November 9th
Place: Parish Center
Time: Afternoon from approx. 1:00 - 4:30
Teams will be limited to just 24 using 6 courts of competition (21 and older)
Competition will be round robin and a single elimination format to determine winner.
Registration on-line portal will open weekend of October 11th/12th
Prizes will be awarded
Multiple 50/50 opportunities and games of chance
Beverages (of course) and snacks will be provided by the HNS or you can BYOB
Multiple sponsorships will be available and outlined on the sign-up portal.
Proceeds to benefit the many organizations we support on a regular basis to exhibit our theme of the 3 S's - Spiritual, Service and Social

Sacred Music Concert
Join Stephanie Davey (Saint Monica Cantor), Alexandra LaMastra (Director of Music) and Melinda Rice (Violinist) for an afternoon of music. The program will feature works by Mozart and Fauré as well as arrangements of beloved hymns.
Blessing of the Animals
Join Father Paul for a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 5 after the 11:30 am Mass in the Grotto behind church. Please note that all pets must either be leashed or carried.
This blessing of pets traditionally occurs around the feast day of Saint Francis who is known for his love of God's creation.

Saint Monica Feast Day Masses & Breakfast
Saint Monica Parish will be celebrating Saint Monica's Feast Day on Sunday, August 24. This year's celebration will begin with honoring our patron at the all the Masses. Following each of our three Masses that day, everyone is invited over to the School Cafeteria for a breakfast and community gathering.
Blood Drive
Please consider signing up to give blood at our parish blood drive Sunday, August 17 from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm in the School Cafeteria. Many slots are available to give either blood or Power Red! Power Red donations collect red cells but return most of the plasma and platelets to the donor.
